So invitation samples have been made up for us and we should be receiving them soon.  We did receive pictures of them through email, though! Here's a sneak preview of one of the 3 designs:

Long time!

Woo, long time - no post!

I attempted to get a lot done since the last time I posted. Some of these included: picking out bridesmaid dresses, deciding on our honeymoon, and sending out Save the Dates. Luckily we did all of these!!

• Bridesmaid Dresses ~ We ended up picking out Alfred Angelo 7040 in Black. It's a brand new style for 2009, and it looked awesome on the girls. I'm a little concerned about what I am going to do about my color scheme now, but I'll live.
• Honeymoon ~ Fi and I have decided that we want to go to Jamaica on our honeymoon. We will be meeting with a travel agent ASAP to book our trip.
• Save the Dates ~ We sent 95% of our STD's out in the mail, and everyone seemed to really like them. I'm just waiting on about 6 more addresses to send the rest out.
• Registry ~ We added on an additional registry. So now we're registered at Bed, Bath and Beyond and Macy's. I think we're pretty much registered for everything now.

Cake Topper

I spent today doing some DIY stuff... I printed our return address on all of our Save the Date envelopes, and I printed out the address to most of our recipients.  I also spray painted and put all the crystals on our cake topper! It took awhile but I love how it turned out.

E-Pics

We took our Engagement Pictures today with Roger at the Waterfront Park in Weehawken.  It was SOOO cold and windy - but we survived!! I'm really excited to get the pictures.  He'll be sending us a cd of the high res pictures by the end of the week. Then we just need to make our selections for prints.  We had a great experience with him.  I'll post pictures as soon as I get them :)

DIY Projects

So my semester ends around December 15th and I don't start student teaching until January 12th. This means a couple of weeks of DIY wedding projects to get done.  There are a couple of things that are definitely on my list:

1. Monogrammed Aisle Runner - MAYBE with a poem or quote on it, also.
2. Monogram Cake Topper
3. Design invitations and perhaps order/create pocketfolds
